Roast Beef dinner OUR ANNUAL ROAST BEEF DINNER is just around the corner – Saturday, March 10th from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Tickets prices are $12.50 for adults, $6.00 for kids age 6 – 12 and free to kiddos under 6! Tickets are available in the church office. This event takes many hands to successfully pull off – see helper opportunities on the sign-up sheet in the fellowship area. Plus – we’re looking for your yummy homemade pies. Proceeds will be used for our major furnace repair expense, repair of our parking lot lights and purchase of a listening assistance system (to replace the one that gave up the ghost…). This will enable our hearing-impaired folks to actually hear our Sunday sermons!
                                         Mens breakfast 2

MEN EAT, TOO!  The guys meet the second Wednesday of each month (for March, it will be March 14th) at 9:00 AM at the Clifton Denny’s for breakfast.  They’d love to have you come on down and have a cup of coffee and breakfast with them.  (PS – spouses have been known to meet for breakfast, too – usually, the ladies sit at their own table…

                        I love reading 1

BOOKCLUB BABES will be reading the book "Joy in the Morning" by Betty Smith.  According to the MCPLD website, it is the story of a young couple in Brooklyn who marry young, have little money, and face bitter parental opposition.  We will meet on Monday, March 19 at 1:30 pm at the home of Katy Trimm.

Palm Sunday PALM SUNDAY – MARCH 25TH: Join us as we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. Children will be waiving palm branches as they parade in a circle around worshippers as Palm Sunday hymns are sung. The celebration will be included in both the traditional and contemporary worship services.
Maundy thurs MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE – MARCH 29TH, 7:00 pm: Please make plans to attend our very meaningful Maundy Thursday Communion service in which we remember Jesus’ last supper with His disciples.
